European Norms
Another strategy developed by APPW is the supporter of the European norms of quality and security. The association`s members are informed about these norms in order to offer high quality products and services to their clients.
The association promotes the norms with respect to safety requirements and test methods and instructions for water slides and pool equipment (ladders, stepladders, handle bends, moveable pool floors and bulkheads, water treatment equipment, lane lines, for turning boards, polo goals, leisure water features). Moreover, norms related to treatment chemicals for swimming pool water and to swimming pool design and operation are discussed during seminars organized by the association.
